Up-and-Coming Conservative Leader, Dana Point City Councilman Jamey Federico Receives the Lincoln Club Impact Award
City Councilman Federico, longtime friend to our cause, has worked dutifully to maintain the character of Dana Point while shepherding economic recovery and smart growth.
Orange County, CA - June 9 - The Lincoln Club of Orange County presented Dana Point City Councilman Jamey Federico with our Impact Award at our June Board of Directors meeting. This award is to recognize exemplary public servants who are devoted to community efforts benefitting Orange County families and beyond. Our club has also given a formal endorsement for his 2022 campaign for Dana Point City Council. A retired Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel and attack helicopter pilot, Federico served 4 combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. While in active duty, Federico was an advisor and translator to an Afghan Border Police Brigade commander on special assignment. Following the United States’ withdrawal from Afghanistan, Federico led an effort to rescue those who were left behind in Kabul, including the interpreter he served with and his interpreter’s wife.
For his efforts as an established conservative voice within his community and beyond, the Lincoln Club of Orange County happily honors Dana Point City Councilman Jamey Federico with the fifth Lincoln Club Impact Award. *Use of military rank, job titles, and photographs does not imply endorsement by the United States Marine Corps or Department of Defense. |
