Champion for his City, Tustin Mayor Pro Tem Austin Lumbard is the Third Recipient of the Lincoln Club Impact Award

 

Through his range of public service, Mayor Pro Tem Lumbard prioritizes preserving what makes the City of Tustin unique while maintaining a vision for smart growth.

Orange County, CA - November 12 - The Lincoln Club of Orange County presented Tustin Mayor Pro Tem Austin Lumbard with our Impact Award at our November Board of Directors Meeting. This award is to recognize exemplary public servants who are devoted to community efforts benefitting Orange County families and beyond.

Our club has also given a formal endorsement for his 2022 campaign for Mayor of the City of Tustin.

Mayor Pro Tem Lumbard prioritizes the safety of Orange County families by working together and not against allies in law enforcement.

In addition, Mayor Pro Tem Lumbard is driven to keep the City of Tustin friendly to business-owners, promoting economic growth without sacrificing the unique character of his city.


From his time serving in the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, to his six-year tenure on Tustin’s Planning Commission, and now to his service on Tustin City Council since 2018, Mayor Pro Tem Lumbard has been devoted to the County he was born and raised in.

Mayor Pro Tem Lumbard has an extensive history in public service. While serving on Tustin’s Planning Commission, Mayor Pro Tem Lumbard was twice appointed as the Commission Chair. 

Additionally, he has experience serving his community on the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor Agencies, Newport Bay Watershed Executive Committee, Santa Ana River Flood Protection Agency, Orange County Sanitation District, Water Advisory Committee of Orange County, Orange County Council of Governments, and the Airport Land-Use Commission for Orange County.

As his profession, Lumbard leads prime contract management for a program of nuclear projects with the Fluor Corporation, a multinational engineering and construction firm created in Santa Ana, California in 1912 by Lincoln Club of Orange County founding member John "Si" Fluor.

With his faithfulness as a constituent-focused leader and champion for the conservative fight in Tustin, we are proud to call Mayor Pro Tem Austin Lumbard our third recipient of the Lincoln Club Impact Award.
